Location Distance to nearest Town: .01 miles The picturesque resort of Puerto Pollensa (Pollença) lies on the northern tip of Majorca and is surrounded by the spectacular Boquer mountains and is a popular holiday resort for the disabled traveller. It has everything - wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back friendly atmosphere. It is particularly popular amongst families as it offers a safe environment due to much of the resort being pedestrianised. This also makes the
resort suitable for wheelchair users. The locals welcome children wherever you go. No wonder it remains a favourite with families and couples who return time and time again.

Pollensa Town is a lovely inland Medievel town with a lively market on Sundays. There you can see the Calvario steps or the Roman Bridge, amongst other sights.
There is another very attractive resort that could make for a pleasant outing - Cala san Vicente has three separate bays.
Alcudia Town (former Roman capital of Majorca, known as Pollentia) is a very interesting place to visit - take a tour of the Roman ruins.
And, of course, there is the city of Palma. With beautiful architecture there is plenty to do - brilliant shopping, art gallery, Cathedral and Castle.
