This beautiful area is perfect for all year round holidays, known for it’s palm lined walkways with easy access to beach areas and ( very importantly! ) designated “wheelchair friendly” by the local community. Additional Services Though peacefully situated and far enough to feel “away from it all” the villa is convenient for all facilities and just 45 mins. drive north of Alicante airport. A great selection of coffee shops and local restaurants serving reasonably priced “menu of the day” can be found where you will be made welcome and can still enjoy a meal by the sea for £6 including wine. Closer to Benidorm,10/15 mins drive, are 2 fabulous golf courses and the nearby theme parks of Terra Natura,Terra Mitica, Water Parks and a Dolphinarium, all disabled friendly, provide alternative entertainment for the family. The backdrop of the Sierra Bernia range entices you up to the mountains to enjoy the wonderful scenic drives and to experience traditional family run restaurants serving great Spanish fare.

Beautiful villa located in such a peaceful area. Apart from a very small step at the front door, the villa is fully wheelchair accessible although there is no pool hoist or shower wheelchair (can be hired) for those needing such equipment. All beds are lower than wheelchair transfer height. Doorways lovely and wide and a fantastic wet room for showering although sinks in both bathrooms are restricted by base cabinets.
Villa is so spacious with everything supplied, even greeted by the local valet company to show you around the place and tips on the best restaurants. Plenty to do and visit in this beautiful region of Spain and the resort of Albir is so clean with decking onto the pebble beach and easy wheelchair access throughout the town. Plenty of disabled parking and toilets facilities available although disabled porta cabins on the beach are not 100% wheelchair accessible.
We had a great time here and look forward to visiting again.
