• The hotel is situated on a beautiful 5 acres olive grove. The rooms are around a central courtyard with level terracing around the building and access to the heated pool.

• As you approach Iznajar by car you will get a stunning view of this beautiful village perched high above the lake, to all intents and purposes, Iznajar now has a waterfront, overlooking an inland sea some thirty kilometres long. In the early morning mist this view will take your breath away! The village was originally a prehistoric Iberian settlement, but flourished in the eighth century when Arab settlers, in the wake of the 711AD invasion by Tariq ibn Zayid and his Moorish armies, built a castle on the promontory and called it 'Hins Ashar

• Each room will have it's own flatscreen TV and DVD player. The lounge/bar/dining area will be ‘open plan’ and guests will be able to access a satellite TV/ DVD system. In addition to the DVD library there will also be a book library. The food provided for our guests will be of a high quality, all home-made and we will be using locally grown produce. In addition to the full board arrangements we will also be providing an old fashioned afternoon tea each day.
