Exterior Description
  • El Pleamar is the ground floor of a small low rise traditional white wash & terracotta building. Beautifully manicured lawns & pretty gardens with paved paths run to the door of the property & throughout the Laguna Beach complex. Facilities include several pools (1 heated indoor pool in winter, an olympic pool and childrens pools - unfortunately none with special access). There are tennis courts, children´s play area, bars, restaurants, internet cafe & shops within the complex.

  • Distance to nearest Town: 0.01 miles
  • Laguna Beach is within the pleasant resort of Torrox Costa, in the quieter Axarquia region of the Costa Del Sol, east of Malaga. Torrox boasts the best climate in Europe. The whole resort is flat and has a long stretch of beach with a long flat promenade running the length of it with bars, restaurants etc off the promenade which has ramped access points onto the beach. Everything you need is easily wheeled to and as such no hire car is required.

  • El Pleamar is the sister property of Las Piedras, the accessible guesthouse run and owned by Hannah and Adrian Stone. We can organise accessible transfers and excursions and mobility aid hire. Cars can easily and cheaply be hired from Malaga Airport if preferred. Thank you for your comments. There is now a set of bed raisers kept in the apartment. The 2nd bedroom is small, but it is accessible in the sense that it is level entry with a metre-wide door and the bed can be turned the other way to allow a bit more room. A toilet raiser can be provided on request or the wheeled showerchair can be used over the toilet if guests find the standard height of the toilet too low. Review Overall a good accommodation.Direct access to beach boulevard. Lots of restaurants. Info in apartment. Bathroom good. Toilet needs raiser. 2nd bedroom not accessible. Main bedroom: bed is too low. Sunroom has daybed with good height. Livingroom with open kitchen. Good, very accessible. Kitchen has a lot of kitchenstuff (salt, peper etc.)for free use. Rental of scooter/raiser etc. at the urbanisation. Kind people, helpful.Car parking not on site.

This is a wonderful apartment with fantastic sea views in a lovely setting with lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this for anyone. It was completely accessible, beautiful, clean and is a great place to stay.
