Llanberis is about 5 miles away and has many accessible tourist attractions including the train up Snowdon. Caernarfon and Bangor are the main towns and these are both about 8 miles away. These have the main shops eg. 24 hour Tesco (who also do home delivery).
Additional Services There are many places of interest to suite all tastes. Natural areas with accessible walks by the lake and in the country parks. Beaches within about 30 minutes.
Many attractions eg. Snowdon train, Llanberis lake train, Electric Mountain, Slate Museum, boating and canoeing on the lake, boat trips. Caernarfon castle, Steam train, National Trust properties. Family attractions such as the Greenwood Centre and indoor fun centre.

Lovely large cottage, very good, made very easy for wheel chairs on the ground floor, can get up stairs, check with owner. Had a great stress free holiday. The area is beautiful, with lots to do and see. Sitting outside any time was bliss, all the wonderful views with only the occasional sounds of sheep, dogs hens. Also the bar b que worked well even with me cooking, so all this produced a wonderful break for us both.(discount for small parties)
The property is away from it all without being cut off Llanberis is about 4 miles away, petrol station with good shop 1.5 mile away, easy access to Bangor.
