The cabin is located in a picturesque woodland setting, the back of the cabin looks out into the forest and have access at the rear to the cross-country ski tracks. There is a 718 bus stop at the end of the road where you can catch the bus to the ski fields, the journey take about 15 minutes. The supermarket and most of the restaurants are about 1km from the cabin and the trips companies about 500 meters away. For all pre-arranged trips you will be collected from the cabin.

  • The whole of the ground floor of Yr Hen Stablau is wheelchair accessible, and the doors are all 850 mm or wider. On the ground floor is a double bedroom, shower room and toilet, sitting room, kitchen/dining room, hall and access to terraces front and back. Electric mobile hoist is available. The shower room has roll-in shower, WC, grab rails and lever taps. All door handles are disability friendly, the basins and kitchen sink have lever taps, and the colour scheme is high visibility.

Wow! what a lovely cottage and what lovely people the owners are. My Dad is a wheelchaire user and he needed a break from work. He was able to access all the around the cottage and park our car right outside the door and bathroom was great for him! Dad even got the wood burner going and we had dinner in front of the open fire, so snuggly... The location is so lovely, a stream running past, woods at the back and lot's for children to do. There is an Owl in the barn and lots of things to explore. Thanks Nicola, we had a brill time.
