Met the needs of the disabled people who I went with perfectly. Great facilities in that respect. Rooms were not great, but fine and clean. I filled in a card mentioning a fault wih the shower- within the hour it was fixed! Food in the hotel was cheap, the choice and the quality was truly brilliant. I ate there every day... something I have never done or wanted to do. The staff were great. Place was quiet and relaxed. Close to the town centre, but not too close.

= Voranova Surprise

We have just returned from a stay in the Voranova. We travelled with a 2 yr old and 3 adults, one wheelchair bound. Before travelling I read a lot of extremely negative reviews on the Voranova & nearly cancelled. On arrival we met 2 families who had been returning to the Voranova for the past 7 years with no complaints, so this helped. I am so pleased to say that we had a fantastic holiday in a lovely & safe environment and to which we would return. The Voranova was clean, rooms cleaned EVERYDAY, by friendly & accomodating staff. 98% of the gueats were families with children, so a definite family feel. The staff were helpful and all spoke English. The manager is Irish so reports of non English speakers are really misleading. There were a few groups of younger guests, but they slept most of the day & were gone at night so we had not problems with noise. (I have been told to avoid July). There was a stag party who were asked to leave following inappropiate behaviour, the staff acted quickly and strictly, I am pleased to say. One weekend a few rooms were over booked but the guests were relocated to a sister hotel on the coast. The pool & surrounds were beautiful and clean. The entertainment was terrible but you are so near the coast you don't need the hotel for that aspect of the holiday. The wheelchair facilities are fantastic and wheelchair guests do get priority where possible. So we were very please with this. All in all a lovely relaxing time, value for money and the only thing that spoilt it for us were the negative reports that we read before travel.

= A very Positive experience

Thanks Sue I have found the whole experience with access at last (and service by Susan Payne) to be very positive. All the advice I was given was helpful and all phonecalls/ emails responded to in a very efficient manner. I also found the prices quoted to be very competitive which is nice when often (due to having to pay for careers etc) holidays for disabled people can be very expensive. If I have any comments for things that may be helpful in the future you may want to consider as a company organising the equipment/ transfers through the company rather than getting individuals to ring hotels directly. While I have no problems with doing this some people may find ringing abroad and doing this intimidating. Apart from this I greatly valued the help and advice I was given and certainly will use you again in the future. Many Thanks Lucy
