• The hotel has four ground floor rooms with adapted facilities. All are accessed externally from the reception area. Parking is reserved and immediately outside each room, where entrance is gained via a small slight ramp. From the back of each room, through patio doors and again via a small ramp, is access to a patio area overlooking the rose garden.

• Enjoy a cruise on Lake Windermere, England's largest lake. The ticket office and jetties are only 250 meters from the hotel. Sail north to Ambleside with the famous little Bridge House and The Armitt Library and Museum. Or sail south to Lakeside and visit the Aquarium of The Lakes (the UK's leading freshwater aquarium) or jump aboard the steam train to Haverthwaite. Alternatively take the ferry across the lake to visit Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter, or the pretty village of Hawkshead.
