I am confined to a wheelchair with MS and stayed at Cortijo la Loma Granero recently. The property is fully accessible, something which others claim, but don't deliver. The wheel-in shower and spacious rooms with wide doorways are great on the practical side, whilst the hydraulic pool chair, massive outdoor cinema, telescope (need I go on?) are touches of luxury which are usually sadly lacking in 'disabled-friendly' properties. Car hire is recommended, as it is in a rural location, but there is an adapted vehicle available for hire, complete with driver. The owners, Nigel and Jacqui, will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure your stay is hassle-free. Highly recommended!!

Our stay at this beautiful and accessible Spanish villa was a true delight. Our hosts were so gracious, and so supportive during our visit. The villa was quite lovely and accommodated a wheelchair very nicely. We soaked up the sun, splashed about in the pool and enjoyed the "outdoor cinema." Granada offered big city delights and we loved our trip to the coast. Thanks to Nigel and Jacqui & Cortijo la Loma for giving us a holiday to remember forever! Dondra, Julie & Maria

= Relaxed and well looked after!

The Villa is very comfortable and accessible, being an independent wheelchair user I had no problems with using any of the facilities.
The lift in / out of the pool is the best I've seen, a hydraulic system allows you to control your descent into and out of the water at the touch of a lever.
Nigel and Jackie could not have been more accommodating, arranging trips out and kindly helping out when low on food and drink.
While we were there a lady came round every other day with fresh bread and other delicious looking pastries.
We had excellent weather every day in May and the evenings were very cool so an ideal time to visit if you are not keen on hot nights.
If you are looking to relax and chill out this accommodation is recommended. If you wish to explore the area then Nigel will probably take you anywhere you wish to go. If you do intend to go out most days then you may wish to look at hiring a vehicle.
Overall a high standard of accommodation and more importantly very accessible.
