The hotel is situated in a small village within a short distance of Snowdonia, Rhyl, Llandudno, Ruthin Castle, Wrexham and Chester.

Brenig reservoir and trout farms are nearby as is the river Elwy. Brenig has a boat which has been adapted for the disabled angler. There are 8 disabled rooms which are a variety of singles, doubles, twins and 1 family room.

All the rooms have a similar level access shower and toilet with grab rails as well as accommodating access for hoists under the beds. There are shower chairs (though these are not self propelling) and other peripherals available at the hotel.
