Earlier this year our charity, Birmingham PHAB Camps, purchased its first Molift Smart portable folding hoist. We take groups of disabled children and young adults on holidays and whilst most of the centres we use have excellent facilities on site we were struggling more and more off site to safely move the children. A folding hoist means that we can take this out with us on the minibus and transfer children onto fairground rides, boats to go sailing, or to simply change a child during the day. For our Camps during the summer we purchased a further two of these hoists to make certain that all our holidays had one to use. The Molift Smart is the perfect choice for this sort of thing. It is strong and solid and yet it folds up into a small space to be transported. Standing upright when folded it takes up less space than a single seat. It has a small battery and charger, which is very quick to charge up. The lift itself is very easy to use and to fold away.

Molift Smart excellant, brilliant would recommend it to everyone, easy to use does excatly what says on the can. we bought one last month went away for a few days it worked perfectly. you do need blocks to raise the hotel bed but that is not a problem

Hello Stephen and staff I would like to say you don`t know how your molift has opened up a new world not only for me but for my husband as well.We thought it was the end of our holidays which we have been doing for the last 42 years in Devon.I like to go back to visit family and friends. It`s a wonderful machine so compact and easy to use.First class material,light in weight and when folded easy to handle to get in the car.It gives so much more freedom for disabled people.After speaking to Stephen on the phone who was so caring and a first class salesman who gave us the best advise possible we did not think twice to ordering it.We are very grateful to him and second as we will now be able to take our holiday. Also it was ordered Monday afternoon late and Friday morning early it was delivered to our door in Rotterdam which was again a number one service all around excelent. Hi Steve and all your staff Just a short message of thanks to you for getting my Molift Smart hoist to me prior to our holiday. The difference it made was enormous, it packs away so easily and my wife, who is quite petit, handles it well with only a little effort when getting it in and out of the car. It transports to and from hotel rooms comfortably and is reassembled quickly ready for use. This means that for short stays away we do not need a disabled room just a fairly large accessible room. Very impressed, it took only seconds to slot the upright into position, and after charging the battery for only one hour (my carer couldn't wait any longer) I was being lifted out of my wheelchair and back in again a couple of times. It is lightweight, portable, and very easy to put together, the operation is quiet and the whole thing is very manoeuvrable, it folds away in seconds, and can be stored vertically. By far the best hoist I have seen or tried so far.

The molift smart portable hoist is brilliant; it is far better than the mobile hoists we have used previously which are slow heavy and unweildly. The way it folds up is ingenious and you don't have to dismantle it (just take out the power pack) so you haven't got lots of pieces to transport. It is fairly lightweight (my 18 year-old son could lift it in and out of taxis and trains on his own) and it wheels along easily with conveniently placed handles. In use it is extremely manoevrable and smooth; it has two lifting speeds and is very quiet. The spreader bar can be moved up out of the way after hoisting and stays in any position (which stops the carer accidentally hitting their head on it!) The recharger is neat and convenient (although the power pack in my suitcase nearly caused a security alert at the eurostar check-in x-ray machine !). It is the next best thing to ceiling hoists and it means that we can now stay at virtually any hotel.
